Important: The game and the pixelXD texture pack must reside in the same directory. Verify both are present before launching.
Slow but Steady includes full text localization for three languages:
Language selection is typically automatic based on system settings or available via an in-game menu. Consult the game's start screen for options.
If the game fails to launch, verify that PythonExtra version 0.4.0 or later is installed. If graphics appear missing or corrupted, confirm that the pixelXD texture pack is present in the same folder as the game file. If controls feel unresponsive, ensure no background applications are interfering with input handling. For persistent issues, re-download both the game and texture pack from the official Planet Casio page and repeat the installation steps.
Slow but Steady was developed by Vitucho as an entry for the ClassPad homebrew community. The game demonstrates narrative design, platformer mechanics, and multi-language support using the PythonExtra runtime. The pixelXD texture pack provides custom artwork optimized for the ClassPad display. Source files and additional resources are available through Planet Casio.
